You Decide

Mark 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (KJV)

Salvation is a continual on-going process, not just a one and done experience like so many think. If you notice in verse 16 it doesn’t say was, but rather is baptized, dealing with the now and not the past. So the question is what are you immersing yourself with, the things of this life or the things of God?

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (KJV)

Have you checked the well you’re drinking from lately? Are you digging deep enough to get to the pure living waters, or are you settling for stagnant surface waters?

John 7:38-39 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (39) (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) (KJV)

Now that Jesus Christ is risen and glorified, would not the living waters be referring to the spiritual, bringing life and new growth to the spirit man within as well as those around us?

Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: (KJV)

How many days can your physical body go without fluids, before it will shut down and fail of dehydration? Your spirit man requires a daily dose of fluids as well. Let me conclude this topic today with a seed faith message, which by the way has nothing to do with money. Luke 8:11 and Galatians 3:16, are very specific to point out that the seed is the word of God, Christ in you the hope of glory. The only hope of glory you will find is if you come to a working knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and learn to walk in the realm of the spirit and not the flesh.

Romans 6:4-5 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (5) For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: (KJV)

Like with any seed, it is first buried. In order for that seed to grow, it has to die first. Then it begins a new growth, springing forth into new life, into a new realm. So for anyone that has done any type of gardening, it takes time and patience to work the plant, and most importantly watering it as well.

John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. (24) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (KJV)

Again dealing in the now, what are you watering the seed of God with? Is it bringing life to the new creation within, or just putting on an outward show to the old? You decide.
