The Correct Translation
Hebrews 11:5-6 By faith Enoch was
translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had
translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he
pleased God. (6) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he
that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of
them that diligently seek him. (KJV)
Enoch had testified, and gave testimony
to the things of God, something we as believers need to give testimony too
as well if we desire to please our Lord. The only way that is going to
happen though is if we take the time on a daily basis to give ear to the
message of God being delivered through Christ, and then follow through with
what He is asking of us personally. You have been raised up and are now
seated with Christ in a Spiritual realm so that you can hear His message of
life, and no longer be found walking a dead end path in this world and its
fallen ways.
2 Corinthians 4:3-6 But if our gospel be
hid, it is hid to them that are lost: (4) In whom the god of this world
hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the
glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
(5) For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves
your servants for Jesus' sake. (6) For God, who commanded the light to
shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the
knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (KJV)
Enoch was not found after his translation
because he no longer walked in the realm of this world. You too will not be
found, at least not in the old places that you used to walk in, because you
are no longer walking according to the course of this world, being
influenced by the prince of the power of the air or winds of doctrines.
Your new way of thinking, your new life in Christ is hid to those that are
lost, and they will not be able to find out the source of your new life
because of the blindness of their heart; that same blindness that kept you
separated from God before your translation into His realm. Your testimony
is new as well; you are no longer limited by the things of this realm, but
you are now able to give testimony to the things of God because you have
been translated also into His realm to get a personal eye witness account
of what is happening above.
Colossians 3:1-3 If ye then be risen with
Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the
right hand of God. (2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on
the earth. (3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
(KJV)
Now that you have been raised up,
resurrected into a new life, it is vital that you continue to seek those
things above and not get pulled back into those that are below; well the
below the standard God would have you operate in. The more you set your
affection on the things above where you are or should be seated, then the
less the things below in this fallen realm will have an affect or influence
on you anymore. The more you stay seated in the heavenly realm the more
effective you will become at delivering the message from above, having
heard it firsthand for yourself. So just as with Enoch who was no longer
found, at least in this world, you will no longer find yourself looking in
this realm for peace and contentment, but rather you will find that the
more you become dead to this world the more alive and real the things of
God will become to you personally as well.
1 Corinthians 1:4-8 I thank my God always
on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
(5) That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in
all knowledge; (6) Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
(7) So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord
Jesus Christ: (8) Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be
blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. (KJV)
Strong’s definition for
‘testimony’:
3142
marturion (mar-too'-ree-on); neuter of a presumed derivative of
3144; something evidential, i.e. (genitive case) evidence given or
(specifically) the Decalogue (in the sacred Tabernacle): KJV-- to be
testified, testimony, witness.
Enoch had a testimony that pleased God,
and so do all those in Christ who are able to give an accurate eyewitness
account of what is taking place in His realm. But how can you ever give an
accurate account unless you are translated, raised up, and seated with
Christ so that you can hear His personal message that He would have you
deliver? Remember, in order for you to be raised up or resurrected there
first has to be a death, someone willing to die in order to partake of the
new life. So what are you giving testimony to today; is it second hand or
hand me down accounts of man’s religion and carnal interpretations, or have
you raised the bar by seeking for yourself firsthand the things which are
above in Christ’s realm?
Revelation 12:9-11 And the great dragon
was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which
deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels
were cast out with him. (10) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now
is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power
of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused
them before our God day and night. (11) And they overcame him by the blood
of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their
lives unto the death. (KJV)
You know, our adversary the devil decided
he knew better than God and ended up being cast out of heaven and into the
realm of the world, where he goes about trying to deceive others and keep
them from hearing the message being delivered by Christ. The only way that
we can be overcomers and inherit our reward is by staying seated in the
heavenly realm with Christ, by holding fast to the testimony of Christ and
laying down our lives even to the point of death for the brethren. Here is
a little hint as well to which testimony God gives credence to and why the
enemy would come against it also, remember Church the enemy is described as
the spirit of antichrist, trying to discredit and keep the believers from
giving testimony to Christ’s name.
Revelation 12:15-17 And the serpent cast
out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her
to be carried away of the flood. (16) And the earth helped the woman, and
the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon
cast out of his mouth. (17) And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and
went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments
of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (KJV)
The enemy knows he has but a short time,
and knows that those that have the correct translation or testimony of
Jesus Christ are a real threat to his kingdom, having allowed themselves to
be translated and seated with Christ to hear His message of truth and
freedom. So, will you be like Enoch as well today; translated into the
heavenly realm, or will you settle for what this world has to offer and end
up a bottom feeder?
