Bearing It All
Romans 9:1 I say the truth in Christ, I
lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, (KJV)
Strong’s definition for ‘bearing’:
4828
summartureo (soom-mar-too-reh'-o); from 4862 and 3140; to testify
jointly, i.e. corroborate by (concurrent) evidence: KJV-- testify unto,
(also) bear witness (with).
There is nothing hidden anymore in the
realm of the Spirit that God is not willing to manifest or present solid
evidence too, to those that are seeking the truth. The Holy Spirit bears
witness to the things of God and allows us to see and comprehend the things
of His realm. The Spirit unveils the truth that was previously hidden to
man; it takes the things of God and shows us plainly how He operates and
how we should operate here on earth. With all that God has made available
to you today are you conscious and aware of His realm, or are you still in
darkness and in a stupor, slumbering through this life without a clue? When
your conscience convicts you and you are not at peace, do you take the time
to hear the correction and make the proper changes, or do you just ignore
it and hope it goes away?
1 John 3:18-22 My little children, let us
not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. (19) And
hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before
him. (20) For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and
knoweth all things. (21) Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we
confidence toward God. (22) And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him,
because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in
his sight. (KJV)
Here is where the confidence and trust is
built, by serving our Lord in love, not just with lip service but in deed
first and in truth. If there is a pricking of the heart, if the Holy Ghost
is trying to get through to you, it is so that the line of communication
can stay open between you and God so that you can do those things that are
pleasing in His sight. The reason your prayers are answered, and the reason
you know they are, is because you are doing and not just talking about what
is pleasing to God. This is what will give you a confidence and boldness, and
assurance that you are one of His as well.
1 John 5:6-9 This is he that came by
water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and
blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is
truth. (7) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the
Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (8) And there are three
that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and
these three agree in one. (9) If we receive the witness of men, the witness
of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified
of his Son. (KJV)
Jesus Christ was the first born into the
realm of the Spirit because He allowed the Holy Spirit to bear witness with
his spirit so that He could know the things of God. If you truly desire to
know the things of God then why not go to the source as verse 7 refers to;
that being the One and only that can give you a true accurate account of
what is taking place in the realm of the Spirit. Verse 8 refers to those
that are born of the flesh and how they are limited to that realm, which
sad to say many rely more on the witness of man than God. If one is truly
willing to receive the witness from God Himself then they are able to
comprehend the things of God and know for themselves His plan of salvation.
So who and what source are you receiving your information from today, and
is it a reliable source that will hold up in God’s court, or will it be
thrown out for lack of evidence? If you were on trial for your life and
there was evidence to set you free you would do everything you could to
gather this evidence and present it openly. With all that is available to
you as a believer in Christ, is there any reason why you shouldn’t be doing
the same thing spiritually?
1 John 4:1-5 Beloved, believe not every
spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false
prophets are gone out into the world. (2) Hereby know ye the Spirit of God:
Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of
God: (3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in
the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye
have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
(4) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater
is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (5) They are of the
world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. (KJV)
Obviously there are many who would rather
rely on the witness of mankind which keeps them limited to this fallen
world. Instead of going to God through Jesus Christ to hear firsthand His
wisdom, allowing Him to bear witness to their spirit they would rather
please the people than please God. You don’t have to run to and fro, from
the east to the north looking for truth, because greater is He that is
within you now than all these flunkies who are in the world and talk just
like worldly people even though they claim they are of God. Jesus Christ
came that you would have life and have it more abundantly; that being a
life of joy and peace with the confidence of knowing who you are in Christ.
With all that has been done on your behalf, with all the evidence God has
made available to you, is there any excuse as to why you or anyone else
would still be in darkness and unconscious to His realm?
Romans 8:14-16 For as many as are led by
the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (15) For ye have not received
the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of
adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (16) The Spirit itself beareth
witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: (KJV)
Who is leading you today, and what are
you bearing witness to; is it based on truth straight from the throne of
God, or are you settling for second hand me down unreliable accounts from
others who still choose this fallen realm over the Lord’s? The Spirit
itself is bearing witness to you, opening up and revealing all that God has
available to those in Christ; now the question is, are you receiving it
firsthand so that you can know and not guess anymore that you are one of
His? If you truly desire to eliminate all the fear and doubt in your life
then receive this message and it will cast out all fear.
1 Corinthians 2:12-13 Now we have
received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that
we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. (13) Which
things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but
which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
(KJV)
Comparing simply means to interpret, like
dealing with someone from a foreign country who you are trying to
communicate with. You can attend all the Bible studies, church or revival
meetings, or listen to all the tapes and books you can get hold of, but
unless you are allowing the Holy Spirit to bear witness and teach you the
things of God you will never come to an understanding of the Spiritual
realm. When your conscience is convicting you it is the Holy Spirit’s way
of trying to get through to you and let you know that something is amiss
and needs correction; not something you should be ignoring. Stay conscious
and alert to the realm of the Spirit and you will not fall for the things
of this world. God’s best to all.
