A Perfect Plan
1 Corinthians 13:10-11 But when that
which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
(11) When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I
thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
(KJV)
Did you know that God made a perfect plan
for your life, even before the foundation of the world? God knew everything
you would need to get you from this realm into His eternal one, and then
made all the necessary arrangements so that you would have what was needed.
With this in mind, is there any reason why you still doubt His plan, or
think you know better? Sounds childish doesn’t it; you know, like when you
have watched a child argue with a parent thinking they know better and how
stubborn they are until they either get set straight or get what they want,
which does include consequences.
Jeremiah 4:22 For my people is foolish,
they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none
understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no
knowledge. (KJV)
Silly and foolish is what the word
‘sottish’ means; and looking around today at all the so called faiths and
denominations mankind has come up not much has changed since the time of
Jeremiah. With all the Lord has done and provided for His people so that
they could grow and mature in Him there is no reason to think that all
these childish manmade silly religions have anything to do with the Lord,
let alone expect Him to bless them as well. So whose voice and knowledge
are you operating in today, the unlimited spiritual wealth in Christ, or
are you still leaning to your own fallen one?
Matthew 19:21-23 Jesus said unto him, If
thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and
thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. (22) But when
the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great
possessions. (23) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto
you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. (KJV)
A rich young man inquired of the Lord
what was missing in his life, what was it that was convicting his heart and
not allowing him to understand clearly. The Lord was specific with His
answer, pin pointing the area that he wasn’t mature in and what it would
take to be mature in God’s eyes. But alas that which is so highly esteemed
to man, anything that man holds in higher regard than God, is an
abomination in His sight and needs to be discarded, not catered to or
pacified. Are there things in your walk that you hold in higher esteem than
your relationship with the Lord? And are you willing to let go of childish
thoughts and imaginations that you have been hanging on to, or should I say
have been hanging on you and dragging you down?
Matthew 5:44-48 But I say unto you, Love
your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and
pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; (45) That ye
may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his
sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and
on the unjust. (46) For if ye love them which love you, what reward have
ye? do not even the publicans the same? (47) And if ye salute your brethren
only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? (48) Be ye
therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. (KJV)
Talk about raising the bar; the Lord
expects us to be as perfect as Him? Well with the access that He has
provided us to His throne so that we could operate in His spiritual wisdom
and knowledge having a renewed mind of Christ, that would be a ‘yes’. If
you notice in the above verses, everything the Lord is teaching totally
contradicts and goes against all that we have been taught in the carnal
realm. In other words all these prophecies, all these tongues of the so
called learned, all of man’s limited knowledge fails in comparison to where
the Lord would have us operate, and how to walk in His wisdom. Yes that bar
is raised, right up to heaven, and now it is time for you to pass God’s
spiritual bar exam.
1 Corinthians 2:6-8 Howbeit we speak
wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor
of the princes of this world, that come to nought: (7) But we speak the
wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained
before the world unto our glory: (8) Which none of the princes of this
world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord
of glory. (KJV)
The wisdom of God, the realm where the
true maturity is found is described as a mystery, which simply put is
something hid to the carnal man but readily revealed to the spiritual one.
The Lord’s ways and His thoughts are so much higher than ours, in fact He
described it as being as high as the heaven is from the earth, which is
getting up there people. Unless you know personally for yourself what this
mystery is and how to operate in the wisdom and knowledge of God you will
be like the rich young man who rather than trust that the Lord knew what
was best for his life turned and walked away sad and empty, imperfect, or
immature.
Colossians 1:25-29 Whereof I am made a
minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for
you, to fulfil the word of God; (26) Even the mystery which hath been hid
from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
(27) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this
mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: (28)
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom;
that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: (29) Whereunto I
also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me
mightily. (KJV)
Who is working in you? Is it still a
mystery or are you maturing and finding out that the perfect plan of God is
in Christ and the revelation of Him? You won’t find perfection in this
fallen realm, but rather you need to tap into the spiritual one if you wish
to find the complete and perfect answer. With all that is available in
Christ why would you settle for anything less than perfect? If you truly
desire a perfect relationship with the Father then it can only be
accomplished through His Son, letting His Spirit lead and guide you into
all truth. Practice does make perfect, and a perfect love will cast out all
fear and allow you to operate in all wisdom which is in Christ, a perfect
fail safe plan of salvation.
