Witness Protection Program
Mark 9:40-42 For he that is not against
us is on our part. (41) For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to
drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he
shall not lose his reward. (42) And whosoever shall offend one of these
little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were
hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. (KJV)
You know, when someone who is a reliable
source of truth is found, they are put in a witness protection program so
that they can testify to the truth. If you notice in the above verses, that
the person that was considered true and reliable, had a name that was true
and reliable. For you to stay in good standing with our Lord, and give
credible testimony to His word, you will need to know who the one mediator
is between God and man so that you can continue to receive His word of
truth.
1John 5:6-9 This is he that came by water
and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood.
And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. (7)
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and
the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (8) And there are three that bear
witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three
agree in one. (9) If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is
greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
(KJV)
In order to stay in good standing with
God why not receive this witness for yourself first hand, because after all
this is the greatest one available. I mean, all you have to do is look
around you and see how mankind has dreamed up so many faiths and doctrines,
religions of man that are predicated on false information. So why not
receive this instruction from God through His Son Jesus Christ, so that you
can know and not guess or doubt any longer?
1John 5:10-13 He that believeth on the
Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made
him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. (11)
And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this
life is in his Son. (12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath
not the Son of God hath not life. (13) These things have I written unto you
that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have
eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV)
This witness that is right inside of you,
you know that one that took up residence when you accepted our Lord’s plan
of salvation, He has a name, and it is the only name that will bring life
to any that know Him. So are you
taking the time to hear the message so that you can stay in good standing
with our Father today, keeping your mind renewed in the mind of Christ? The
whole armor of God is in Christ, which will keep you protected and not
falling again back into the realm of sin and unbelief.
Ephesians 6:13-16 Wherefore take unto you
the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand. (14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt
about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; (15) And
your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; (16) Above all,
taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the
fiery darts of the wicked. (KJV)
Faith is your ability to hear the message
being delivered through Christ, so that you can stand and not fall for the
lies and deceptions of the wicked one anymore. With all that God has made
available to us through the sacrifice of His Son, have you done all to
stand? Are you keeping yourself in the Spiritual witness protection
program? God bless Church, and stay armed and strong through the one and
only name given to us whereby we may be saved, that being Jesus Christ.
