The Faith
1 Timothy 4:1-2 Now the Spirit speaketh
expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,
giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (2) Speaking lies
in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; (KJV)
You know when dealing with the Lord,
there are not a bunch of faiths that He gives credence to, let alone
doctrines, but our Lord’s realm is one. The enemy comes along with a
message that appeals more to the outward man than to the inward one so that
you will start giving ear to all these so called faiths and doctrines. The
simple truth is that when you see an ‘s’ added to the word faith or
doctrine, then it is not of God but is coming from the devil and his fallen
workers, many times under the disguise of ministers.
Ephesians 3:10-13 To the intent that now
unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the
church the manifold wisdom of God, (11) According to the eternal purpose
which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: (12) In whom we have boldness
and access with confidence by the faith of him. (KJV)
Some people are of the impression that the
enemy of our Lord is in hell, today, right now. However, the Bible says
that the devil was cast down to earth, and is not too happy about his
predicament. It is up to you to know your rights and authority in Christ,
so that you won’t be distracted or talked out of your place with Him, and
can access the Lord by telling those fallen angels and principalities in
heavenly places to step aside as you are going to the throne of God to hear
that message of faith today. Most people put their faith in false
doctrines, so instead of accessing and finding out who they are in Christ
and all the Spiritual blessings that they have been blessed with, they end
up falling for some cheap lie and settle for the things below in this
fallen realm of sin and unbelief.
Galatians 2:16-20 Knowing that a man is
not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ,
even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the
faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the
law shall no flesh be justified. (17) But if, while we seek to be justified
by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the
minister of sin? God forbid. (18) For if I build again the things which I
destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. (19) For I through the law am dead
to the law, that I might live unto God. (20) I am crucified with Christ:
nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which
I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved
me, and gave himself for me. (KJV)
You know, here is a dead give away to
those that are giving ear to all these seducing spirits and doctrines of
demons, you see it manifest when they think that there are works involved,
especially the works of the old law that our Lord died to have removed for
His people. If your faith is in anything or anyone other than Jesus Christ
and the completed work He has done on your behalf, then it is a waste of
time and you have fallen from grace.
Colossians 1:21-24 And you, that were
sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath
he reconciled (22) In the body of his flesh through death, to present you
holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: (23) If ye continue in
the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the
gospel, which ye have heard, and which was
preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am
made a minister; (24) Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up
that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his
body's sake, which is the church: (KJV)
Along with the Spiritual blessings
associated with the faith will come some opposition. So make sure you
continue in the faith, and don’t be moved away from your rightful place in
the body of Christ, continue in the doctrine of Christ and only His
doctrine. God bless and keep the faith.
