Knowledge Of The Truth
1 Timothy 2:4-7 Who will have all men to
be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. (5) For there is one
God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (6) Who
gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (7) Whereunto I
am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and
lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. (KJV)
If you notice the Word is quite clear and
specific in the fact that it is the truth located in a heavenly place,
seated at the right hand of God. You won’t find this knowledge here on
earth or in this fallen realm, but rather it can only come from God through
Christ; that’s it people, the one and only truth that will set one free.
Romans 10:9-11 That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God
hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart
man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation. (11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him
shall not be ashamed. (KJV)
Again we clearly see that salvation is a
continual process, one that involves more than just showing up at some
building on a weekly or weakly basis, but rather with our mouth confession
is, not just was, made unto salvation. The words that our Lord spoke were
Spirit and life, words that He heard personally from His and our Father in
heaven, and look where He ended up. In order for you to believe and speak
words that are Spirit and life, you are going to have to learn to believe
and trust more in the unseen realm rather than just the outward one. Folks,
that takes commitment, not just on a Wednesday evening or Sunday morning,
but this has to become a way of life for you if you are really going to
inherit eternal life once you depart this realm. Don’t think the enemy will
not continue to do all that he can to get you to doubt, because it doesn’t
take much leaven to leaven the lump. You have to believe and trust that
someone greater is in you than anything or anyone in this world, period.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false
apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of
Christ. (14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel
of light. (15) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be
transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according
to their works. (KJV)
You know your Bible says there are many
false prophets, not just a few, but very specific to point out as well the
fact that many have taken up residence in the pulpits under the guise or
disguise of religion and carnal doctrines of man. Do you know the
difference for yourself; do you desire to know the difference, or are you
of the assumption that all paths lead to the same destination? I can assure
you that part of that statement is
true, however, the destination that these other trails are leading to will
end up in the same place, just not the one that the Lord intended for you
to end up at, a dead end.
Matthew 24:4-5 And Jesus answered and
said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. (5) For many shall come
in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. (KJV)
That nice slick guy in a three piece
suit, you know the one where he holds his Bible and has the picture perfect
family portrait, the pastor that is shaking your hand and smiling as you
leave his congregation, yup, even though he may appear to look good on the
outside many of these suits are full of dead men’s bones. Knowledge of the
truth, God sent His Son who was dying to give truth to His people, are you
dying to receive it?
