According To Your Faith

Matthew 9:28-30 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. (29) Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. (30) And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. (KJV)

So how did you enter into the Kingdom of God and begin your walk with Him? In looking at the verses above, can you see yourself as being one of the blind as well, spiritually blind and unable to see into the realm of the Spirit? Keep this simple fact in mind as we go along this week, it was according to your own personal faith, you believing in the plan of salvation that got you started, and it is only going to be by your own personal relationship with the Father through His Son that is going to keep you in good standing with Him. So if it wasn’t of works in the beginning of your walk, why do so many think that they have to do a bunch of dead works to stay in good standing, which is basically forgetting the simplicity of the gospel, having been saved by grace through faith.

Matthew 8:10-13 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. (11) And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. (12) But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (13) And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. (KJV)

A centurion was seeking to have his servant healed, and you can see how the Lord responded. As he believed, it was done, and the need was provided. We all as a child of God have access into the realm of our Lord by faith so that we too can receive the things that we need. But for this to take place you will need to learn to walk by faith, a faith in the realm of the unseen, and not by sight or outward appearances. This takes faith, your ability to hear the personal message from God through Christ so that you can learn to step out and not only believe, but receive.

Mark 10:50-52 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. (51) And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. (52) And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. (KJV)

You know, only someone Spiritual can provide the need that will make you whole, because we are all made up of body, soul, and spirit. In order to get through to God you will need to go through His Son so that you can be whole and stay complete in Him. When you pray and seek provisions, do you expect the whole answer as well as His results, or have you allowed doubt to creep in and cause you to become double minded at times? So what are you hearing today, right now, and are you believing more in what God is able to do and less in what you can see, hear, and touch in the outward? Do you desire a more confident walk with our Lord, going boldly before His throne of grace? Then give ear to His Word, because it will happen according to your faith.
