A Complete Unveiling
Colossians 2:8-10 Beware lest any man
spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men,
after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (9) For in him
dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. (10) And ye are complete in
him, which is the head of all principality and power: (KJV)
You know what the most important part of
the unveiling is; say when dealing with a picture of a person? Yeah that
would be the head, so that it can identify the person that is involved, and
you can know the complete answer to who that person is. Do you know and are
you able to correctly identify who the head of God’s church is, and what
name He goes by? It’s been unveiled, revealed and made manifest, now you
need to know for yourself.
Matthew 16:16-17 And Simon Peter answered
and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. (17) And Jesus
answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and
blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (KJV)
Peter got a glimpse of what was about to
be revealed to God’s people, and was able to give an accurate account. Many
people knew Jesus was the son of a carpenter, and their understanding of
him was based on the outward man, while God has been revealing more to His
people, letting them on the inside to get the complete answer.
Galatians 1:15-16 But when it pleased
God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, (16)
To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen;
immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: (KJV)
This is what separates the men from the
boys so to speak, because until you come to the knowledge of the truth
which is in Christ, you will never grow and mature to the place that God
would have you operate in His body of believers, and neither will you be
able to give an accurate account or a complete answer to who God is
revealing to His people.
Galatians 2:20-21 I am crucified with
Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the
life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,
who loved me, and gave himself for me. (21) I do not frustrate the grace of
God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. (KJV)
Again we see what Paul’s calling is, and
who and what was revealed to him personally through the Spirit. We see also
many that continue to seek God any other way than by faith, like verse 21 makes
reference to the works of the law, they have already fallen away and are
not a true representation of the knowledge and the truth that sets one free
and keeps them free. We also are able to see the blindness that continues
because of the veil that they have kept on their heart, which veil is only
done away in Christ, and not of works.
Ephesians 3:4-5 Whereby, when ye read, ye
may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) (5) Which in other
ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto
his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; (KJV)
So how can one really identify the truth,
and those that have knowledge of it? Well, if they know and are giving a
complete answer to what was being unveiled through the Spirit, you will then
find that it involves Christ. Those that don’t know the difference will be
giving an incomplete and inaccurate account of who God unveiled for His
people to see, which is based more on their limited carnal outward vision,
and not on the inward one that our Lord desires for His people to operate
in.
