One

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; (5) One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (6) One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (KJV)

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (KJV)

‘One’ is a few letters, yet a big word. Another definition would be singular. Is your eye single today, set on the Lord and those things above where He is seated at the right hand side of God? In having that singleness of heart and mind, the intimacy of being in the Spirit, we are one with the Lord. Many begin in this singleness of heart and mind, in the Spirit, but try to perfect it in the flesh and thus become double minded and unstable in all their ways. Trying to please God and man; trying to be one with God and one with the world. You cannot do both! You are either for God or against Him. One or the other.

The word ‘one’; it is three letters and there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one (God). And there are three that bear witness in earth (in earthen vessels, you and I), the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and these three agree in one (Christ Jesus).

If you continue in the Word grounded and settled and be not moved away from the hope that is within you (Christ in you the hope of glory) then you shall be one with them and you shall know the truth that shall set you free and keep you free indeed.

John 14:15-21 If ye love me, keep my commandments.  (16) And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (17) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.  (18) I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.  (19) Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. (20) At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.  (21) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (KJV)

This is a promise; He didn’t say maybe or might, He said shall; but once you begin, you have to continue in His love, keeping His commandments, those things that He has spoken and asked you to do, being a doer and not just a hearer. We have been given the mind of Christ, and as we operate in the singleness of heart and mind the Lord is able to instruct us in the things of God, and how to operate in the Spirit so that we are able to overcome in and through all things, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And as we overcome we are able to see more, having a vision, of the One manifesting within us. A vision of how God made this same Jesus both Lord and Christ representing ‘the’ Godhead bodily, our mediator.

Now my beloved brethren my prayer is that of Jesus Christ in John 17, that you may continue as one with them even as they are one in you; and that you come to a full personal knowledge of the truth that is in you, and hold fast in singleness of heart and mind to it. God bless.
