Which Language?
Romans 6:11-12 Likewise reckon ye also
yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus
Christ our Lord. (12) Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that
ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. (KJV)
Romans 6:11-12 From now on, think of it
this way: Sin speaks a dead language that means nothing to you; God
speaks your mother tongue, and you hang on every word (Matthew 4:4).
You are dead to sin and alive to God. That’s what Jesus did. That means
that you must not give sin a vote in the way you conduct your lives. Don’t
give it the time of day. (The Message Translation)

and the methods of combining them used and understood by a community b (1)
: audible, articulate, meaningful
sound as produced by the action of the vocal organs (2) : a systematic means of communicating ideas
or feelings by the use of conventionalized signs, sounds, gestures, or
marks having understood meanings (3) :

Man does not live by bread alone but by
every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. God’s language is that of
love, truth, Spirit and life. His words are Spirit and life for all those
who come to know His language by and through His Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Without the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit you will not know God’s
language or comprehend it. It is only revealed to those that are His, those
who have the Spirit of Christ living and abiding within them. It is like
learning a new language; the more that you listen and are taught of His
language the more proficient you become at speaking and presenting it. Remember
our citizenship is now in heaven, and there is a new language in the Spirit
that we need to learn, hear, and partake of to be able to communicate our
needs unto our Father, as well as so that our Father can also communicate
unto us that which He desires of us, that we remain a citizen in the
kingdom of God. Those who worship Him must do so in Spirit and in truth;
anything else is a dead language.
John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my
speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. (KJV)
Sin’s language is that of death, it is
worldly, sensual, demonic, and will cause eternal separation from God and
His kingdom. Which as you look around today you see that this dead language
of sin is waxing worse and worse; there are many who are partaking of it;
many who are calling evil good and good evil, and they love it to be so.
The hearts are waxing cold, the ears are turning away, and the tongues are
spewing forth against sound doctrine, against God and His kingdom, against
Christ His Son. The lusts of the hearts of man are laid open for all to see
more and more as it was in the days of Noah, the end is near; so don’t give
sin a vote in your life, don’t give it the time of day, leave the dead
language behind.
Which language will you partake of today?
My dearly loved brethren, my prayer for you is this, that today you would hold
fast the form of sound words and continue in the language of Spirit and
life in Christ that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God; for today
is the day of salvation, now is the accepted time.
2 Thessalonians 3:5 And the Lord direct
your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
(KJV)
