Never Never Land

Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. (22) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? (23) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (KJV)

There is an imaginary place that is called never never land, a place built on fairy tales and not reality. Many of man’s doctrines, denominations, and other so called faiths are based on the same premise, it looks great on the outward, but inwardly it is an accident waiting to happen. So what is your faith and trust built on, and is your relationship with our Lord a reality, or something that you hope will someday happen? As we see illustrated above, many are asking questions that they should have had answered already, and have found out too late that they never really established a true personal relationship with Our Father in heaven. What happens to many, thus why only a few are left that are chosen of God, is that they become more friendly with the world as well as worldly people.

Luke 6:24-26 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. (25) Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. (26) Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. (KJV)

You know that popular prosperity message that is currently being peddled around as the truth? Yeah, well the truth is that it is just an end run around reality and a wide path leading one back to destruction; you know that path that you were just delivered from? Oh you may get a belly full in this realm, but trying to access your heavenly reward will leave you coming up empty because you spent too much time chumming with the world and not enough time and effort getting to know God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ. Many are willing to sell their soul for man’s reward even though they think that they are going to receive their heavenly reward as well. However, just like the old tuna commercial, someday when their reality check comes due it will be “sorry Charlie”.

John 8:51-52 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. (52) Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. (KJV)

When going through your Bible, did you ever notice who it was that gave the Lord the most resistance? Amazing isn’t it, all those religious people that should have known better and embraced the truth God sent to us in the form of His Son. Well, you too will find that as you go on the path of life that most of the opposition that you will encounter as well will be from the many false prophets that claim to be Christians, those that have never really ever established a personal relationship with our Lord based on the truth that would set them free.

John 8:53-55 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? (54) Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: (55) Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. (KJV)

So do you still wonder who it is that will be standing before our Lord claiming that they were one of His? Well all that glitters is not gold; however, there is a lot of fools’ gold out there that is being pawned off as the real deal. Do you know the truth so that when you stand before the Lord He can say, “well done good and faithful servant”? Or will you end up in a burning situation like many who will end up well done?
