Never Ever

2 Timothy 3:4-7 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; (5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, (7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (KJV)

When looking at this chapter many would think that the above verses are referring to unbelievers, those that are of the world. Well that would be partially true except the fact is that the Bible is written to the Church; warnings as well as encouragement for what is going to take place as we get nearer to the end. Lots of people attend many religious organizations and are ever increasing in knowledge; however, it is not based on the truth that would set them free. If you think for one moment that the devil and his workers are upset because it looks like so many are coming to the Lord I got news for you, many of these places are his playground, and he is playing the people like a fiddle.

John 5:39-41 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. (40) And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. (41) I receive not honour from men. (KJV)

You know, I get tired of hearing what people think, especially those that claim to know God and His plan of salvation. Did you know that the word of God is living, that the scriptures are more than just words on a page, but it is actually a living document that will come to life to those that know the truth? Many people spend time reading the Word and learn from their outward vision, but how few really get inside and get to know the Lord personally, as well as the Spiritual meaning and context of His word? How would you consider your walk with the Lord today, is it more knowing, or do you think you are on the right path? ‘The scriptures testify of me’, which is what the Lord was giving testimony to, and yet they were still blind to the truth.

John 5:42-44 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. (43) I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. (44) How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? (KJV)

People are more apt to run after and follow a man that they can see in the outward, rather than look inwardly to see a new man, in a new realm, with a new name that gets them access to the throne of God. Knowing who the Son is will put you in contact with the Father, because you can’t have one without the other.

Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (10) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (KJV)

You know, if you desire to get to the top then you need to go above and beyond this realm to get there. I personally began my walk with the Lord hearing about the name of Jesus, which is a common name today with mankind. However, it was the full name of Jesus Christ that I found would get me the full answer to the mystery of the gospel, and enlighten me to a realm which is above. Do you desire to go above and beyond man’s religions and doctrines? Then you will need to know the one name that is above all others so that you never ever have to live in doubt or fear again, or be turned away at the door when seeking your eternal reward.
