The Only Name That Works
Galatians 6:15-16 For in Christ Jesus
neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new
creature. (16) And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on
them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. (KJV)
All this week we have been on the topic
of what works and does not work in the realm of the Spirit. As we see
illustrated in the verses above, any works according to the law, any thing
that is not of faith is considered sin, something that does not work in our
Lord’s realm. You will also find throughout your Bible that there is only
one name that works as well, and it is a name which is above all names,
because the person this name belongs to is now seated above, at the right
hand of the Father. So while mankind throws many names around hoping it
will work, the Bible is very specific in what name will get us out this
fallen realm and into the higher Spiritual realm that our Lord desires to
see us operate in.
Acts 19:15-16 And the evil spirit
answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? (16) And
the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and
prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and
wounded. (KJV)
I know for myself that I can relate with
these verses, having tried to take on life on my own according to what I
thought would work. Even after my conversion in Christ I would try to do
things on my own, or handle situations without the Lord, and I ended up on the
run instead of sending the enemy packing. A lot of people know a lot of
names that are mentioned throughout the Bible; however, only one name is
going to work if you are going to see the enemy flee rather than the other
way around. Many today use the name of Jesus and pray in that name, but how
few really know who they are in Christ, the complete name that gives us
total victory over the enemy who is described as antichrist.
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered
into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.
This is a deceiver and an antichrist. (KJV)
Why is it the spirit of antichrist Church;
no not anti Jesus, but why that name which keeps popping up throughout the Bible,
and when we see that name popping up so does the enemy to try to get God’s
people to not know who they are in Christ and His doctrine that sets them
free. Remember what our Lord Himself said, that if we are not with Him and
in agreement with Him then that means we are against Him, or as clearly
spelled out antichrist. Ever wonder again what happened to the many that
were called of God and yet only a few were chosen?
Galatians 1:6-7 I marvel that ye are so
soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another
gospel: (7) Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and
would pervert the gospel of Christ. (KJV)
So, why all the opposition to this name?
Well Church, obviously this is the only name and the only doctrine that
gets results and really works the way God intended. In fact, this name of
Christ is so effective that the enemy is described as antichrist, which
clearly identifies those that are in opposition to the truth that sets the Church
free. So true Church in Christ, do you truly know what really works in our
Fathers realm, and the only name that works and gets His heavenly response?
