The Purpose Manifested
1 John 3:8-10 He that committeth sin is
of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose
the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the
devil. (9) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed
remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. (10) In
this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not
his brother. (KJV)
Again we see the purpose God had for
mankind was being manifest through His Son, Jesus Christ. While many people
try to make the claim that Jesus was God, God clearly manifests His plan of
salvation is coming to us from Him through His Son. Remember what happens
when you try to add to or take away from the meaning of God’s word? Yeah,
you might find your name added to those that are rejected, and your name
taken out of the book of life.
1 John 4:9-10 In this was manifested the
love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the
world, that we might live through him. (10) Herein is love, not that we
loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation
for our sins. (KJV)
You know it’s hard to drive a square peg
into a round hole, it just doesn’t fit. A Spiritual being has manifested
His plan of salvation through another Spiritual being, that being His Son.
Only those that have been enlightened and reborn into this realm will be
able to see and understand how this plan works, and how to access God.
Those that do not worship our Lord in Spirit and in truth will come up with
many doctrines and new age ideas that just don’t fit the way they were
intended by our Father in Heaven.
John 17:5-7 And now, O Father, glorify
thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the
world was. (6) I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me
out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have
kept thy word. (7) Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast
given me are of thee. (KJV)
Although many have been called by God, in
the end it is only a few that will truly worship Him, which can only be
done in Spirit and in truth, not half truths, not maybes, not like
horseshoes, close but no ringer. We see clearly again the Son communicating
with His Father in heaven, having been sent our way to manifest God’s plan
of deliverance from this present evil world to a fallen mankind, showing them
their only way of escape.
1 John 1:2-4 (For the life was
manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that
eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) (3) That
which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have
fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with
his Son Jesus Christ. (4) And these things write we unto you, that your joy
may be full. (KJV)
You know, if someone told you that they
were the son of a certain person, and not the person himself, you would
probably believe them wouldn’t you? Now knowing the fact that God is not a
man that is known to lie, why do so many not believe in how His purpose is
being manifest to us through His Son?
