So They Say

John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (18) He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)

So they say; they being those that profess to be Christians who claim that Jesus was God. However, looking through the Word, which for each and every believer in Christ should be their source, I don’t see it myself. In fact the Word is quite specific to point out that God sent us His Son to be a representative of His kingdom, and to manifest His plan of salvation to a fallen mankind. They being those of this world even though they profess to be of God are saying a lot of things; now Church, it is up to you to rightly divide the word of truth for yourself.

Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, (2) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (KJV)

God has used many different methods to speak to man and to let them know that He was alive and well; even to the point of speaking through an ass in the Old Testament. Today with all the doctrines and fallen devices of mankind which manifest in the form of denominations, it seems that many are being spoken to again through an ass, and not getting their information firsthand from the Father through His Son. In order to claim that Jesus was God Himself you would need to overlook and basically delete who our Lord Himself was called by God; which is not the place that our Lord intended for you to be, thus the reason why He sent the Son.

John 17:1-3 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: (2) As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. (3) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (KJV)

According to these verses God sent His Son, who we see was acknowledging His Father in heaven. Verse 3 is very specific in pointing out that this Son was sent so that we could know who our Father in heaven is as well, and how to access Him through His Son.

Psalms 107:20-21 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (21) Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! (KJV)

Our Father sent us His Son; His Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, to deliver us from the power of darkness so that we could be translated and partake of His heavenly gift. Before you go jumping on a popular bandwagon of man make sure ahead of time that you know that it is not heading for a ditch because of the blind driver. So the Father has spoken through His Son, and so they say that Jesus was God. Well, from what the Word says, not true.
