An Unnatural Realm

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (KJV)

This natural lower realm we are currently surrounded by is totally opposite of our Lord’s realm where He operates in and desires to see His people operate in as well. Not only does the natural man not know the things of God, but to their lower limited carnal nature it is foolishness to even think one can know them either. Our Lord came that we would have life and have it more abundantly. The abundant life we now have access to is located in the Spiritual realm; a realm we need to seek out and then stay in as well daily.

Matthew 11:25-27 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. (26) Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. (27) All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. (KJV)

Oh I am just a simple person who isn’t well educated and my family lineage is not of a long line of preachers either. Well, you sound like a perfect candidate for the Lord, because the wisdom and knowledge we now have access to has nothing to do with this world or those of it. The fact is that it is man’s limited thinking that keeps him separated from the love of God and knowing who they are in Christ, because they keep seeking their answer in this natural realm and not the Spiritual realm that our Lord abides in. If you notice the pattern in the verses above you see the word ‘know’ used numerous times. The goal and purpose of each and every person here on earth is to find out their place in the body of Christ, what their calling is, and to know, not just guess or hope, but know personally for themselves who their Father is through His Son.

Romans 8:7-9 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. (8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (KJV)

Oh I got this salvation stuff all figured out; I will marry my high school sweetheart, buy a house, raise a family, and attend my local church just like I am expected to. When one limits themselves to the carnal realm and is no longer open to the Spiritual realm, they have then entered the realm of impossible, where their faith stays in the natural realm and not the Spiritual one. Many people have their lives planned out according to what they think looks good to the outward, rather than giving ear to the inward man so that they can know they are in good standing with their heavenly Father on a daily basis, and not just once in a while on certain days that man says are special and important to God. When one limits God, they are limiting themselves to stay stuck in this natural realm and not get out of the box they have put themselves in.

Mark 10:26-27 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? (27) And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. (KJV)

Salvation is not a plan that is left for you to plan out, but rather it is a path that our Lord chose for you before the foundation of the world to walk in. For many though, rather than step out of the natural and into the Spiritual realm, they remain in a holding pattern not knowing where to go. What began as a Spiritual path will need to end up that way if one is going to know they are in good standing with the Lord, and have nothing to be ashamed of when standing in His presence seeking their eternal reward. Once one has been enlightened to the things above they will find that the things of this natural realm are foolishness, not the other way around like so many others think.
