Seated To The Right

Mark 16:19-20 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. (20) And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. (KJV)

All this week we were exploring God and how His plan of salvation is being manifested to us through His Son. Although many claim that Jesus Himself was God we see clearly that God set this man at His right hand, to mediate His plan to us.

Acts 2:31-33 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. (32) This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. (33) Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. (KJV)

When one goes through the New Testament we see our Lord being described as the son of man as well as the Son of God. Jesus was a man that God used as the vessel to house His Son Christ in, so that He could demonstrate to us how to live in the Spirit and no longer fall for the lies of the enemy. After this man had finished the work that God had for Him, He was then resurrected and seated at the right hand of God to make intercession for us.

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. (KJV)

You know, when this man walked this earth and delivered a message totally contrary to what many believed or wanted to hear, many decided to crucify the messenger rather than receive the message from above. Many today are still crucifying our Lord all over again, because they try to make the claim that Jesus Himself was God.

Colossians 3:1-2 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. (2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. (KJV)

God has never lied to mankind, and never will. So with that in mind, why not go to the source Himself, firsthand, so that you won’t end up with second hand me down doctrines that don’t hold any living water but rather are based on half truths and lies.

Hebrews 10:11-12 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: (12) But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; (KJV)

There are a lot of cheap imitations; many so called priests today are still offering dead sacrifices thinking it will bring life. Only one man offered a perfect sacrifice so that He could show us a more perfect way to heaven.

Ephesians 2:13-15 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. (14) For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; (15) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; (KJV)

In conclusion, when going through the Word you will see our Lord described as the son of man as well as the Son of God. Of these two, Jesus the son of man and Christ the Son of God, is one new man seated at the right hand of the Father ready, willing, and able to show you your only way of escape from this present evil world. When mankind tries to tell you that Jesus was God, well, you will need to look to the right hand of God so that you won’t be left out of His kingdom, because God does not allow liars into His realm.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (KJV)

Hey, even God Himself is quite specific to point out that He is not the son of man. That’s good enough for me.
