Not Knowing

Mark 4:11-13 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: (12) That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. (13) And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? (KJV)

For those that don’t know the mystery of the kingdom of God, in the end there will be no excuse. The fact that God sent the Son for all mankind means that none should perish, but like the Word says all should come to repentance.

Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (27) And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (KJV)

Many pray for things in their lives that are not healthy to their walk; well, at least not their walk in the Spirit; but rather their prayers are aimed more for their carnal desires rather than the Spiritual one. When you committed your life to the Lord, then you basically surrendered your life to Him, deciding that He knew what the best path for you to walk is. If you are being led by anything or anyone other than the Spirit of Christ, then you are not one of His but are again on the outside, veiled from the truth.

James 4:13-15 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: (14) Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. (15) For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. (KJV)

Jesus Christ was the first born again man that walked a path that was pleasing to our Father, and is now seated at His right hand to show us the way home as well. For those that don’t know the mystery of His kingdom, they will ask for and seek things that are not beneficial to their spiritual life, being more concerned with their financial outcome rather than the Spiritual one. When God’s people don’t get their prayers answered the way they think they should then they need to re-examine their motives to make sure they know that the prayer and outcome is what the Lord intended for them.

James 4:16-17 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. (17) Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (KJV)

I have seen people rejoice in things that they claim are blessings; you know, like all the hundredfold return messages, the money cometh schemes of man? Well, for those that have been enlightened to the kingdom of God they know the true treasure is in heaven and not on earth. Not knowing is not going to work, and not a place that you want to be when it comes time to give an account of your life before our heavenly Father.
