A Real Center Peace

Matthew 18:18-20 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. (19) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (20) For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (KJV)

Thayer’s definition for ‘midst’:

3319  mesos-

1) middle

2) the midst

3) in the midst of, amongst

So what’s the center of your attention and focus; is it something in the outward, or are you now looking more to the inward realm to find true joy and peace in your life? Are you aware of the fact that every idle useless word that we speak we will have to give an account of it before our Father in heaven? Are you always aware of the fact that you as a Christian have someone that is always listening in and watching what you do, and what your true motives are? Oh, I am not talking about how you do certain things to impress others, or how you say one thing but mean another. What we are talking about is the true motives of the heart, because out of the abundance of your heart is what you will be speaking, which is either in the realm of God which brings forth life, or the realm of the enemy which keeps you bound in this lower fallen realm of sin.

Luke 24:24-27 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. (25) Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: (26) Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? (27) And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. (KJV)

We see again the Lord manifesting Himself to the disciples in a different form, or a realm they were not familiar with. Today we see the same thing taking place over and over again with mankind, many are seeking the Lord and looking for an outward manifestation when in fact our Lord now operates in a different form or realm, that being Spiritual. Are you able to see who was in the midst of them? That same Jesus Christ that was expounding and opening up to them a new form of worship is walking with you as well desiring to open His Word to you. Are you looking into His realm to find the answer, or are you still hanging around a graveyard with other dead people?

Luke 24:28-32 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further. (29) But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them. (30) And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. (31) And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. (32) And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures? (KJV)

Jesus Christ said that His people would be baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire; a burning desire in the heart to serve the Lord. It takes a fire, a spark to light the candle within you so that it can illuminate and enlighten you to all the things that are hidden in Christ. Are you like the disciples, still running to and fro to find the answer, or are you looking within to see the light, the glorious gospel of Christ which will lead and guide you on the only path that leads to eternal life? As we see again, that same Lord that had walked this earth in the form of a man is now abiding in a different form or realm if you would, and only those that look to that realm and no longer know Him after the flesh will come to an understanding of the mystery of the gospel. It’s called a mystery because many are looking in the wrong realm, chasing false evidence planted by the enemy who is leading them blindly into the ditches of man’s doctrines and carnal interpretations.

Romans 8:9-10 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (KJV)

It would do you good to look again and get to know who it is that really dwells within the believer, the only true person that is in the midst of all His people. Many today still see and understand after the outward form or realm and see a man named Jesus, while a few are looking beyond the flesh and into another form where our Lord is truly abiding. If one truly has an understanding of who they are in Christ, and how to operate effectively in the place that He has them in His body of believers, they know the answer came from within and not from the outward realm where many continue to seek and miss the mark. When you are able to see Christ for yourself it is because you have died to self and the carnal senses that you used to allow to dictate your walk so that you can now walk by your Spiritual senses, a walk that is by faith and not by the outward sight any longer. The more you look within to find the answer the more you find it will be centered on Christ and how He desires to reveal Himself to you personally.

Galatians 1:15-17 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, (16) To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: (17) Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. (KJV)

Paul didn’t run to the disciples to find the answer to His calling, but rather found the answer was within Him, that same answer that is within you also, Christ, who is our only hope of glory. How are you formulating your vision of the Lord; are you running to man to find the answer, or are you able to formulate a true vision based on an inward revelation and not an outward one? Are you going to dead places, finding a dead end in the midst of other dead people, or are you spending some personal time alone in the Word to hear the answer for yourself?

Galatians 1:11-12 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. (12) For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (KJV)

This is what Paul found to be true when he looked within, and this is what you will find also if you truly desire to know the Lord for yourself personally. Just as the disciples found out earlier in their search when they were looking for something in the outward they ended up in a tomb, at a dead end. Paul looked into a realm where our Lord is alive and well, a true realm where we should be centering our attention on also if we really desire to have peace and keep our lamps burning.
