Beyond The Veil
Ephesians 4:18-21 Having the
understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the
ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: (19) Who
being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work
all uncleanness with greediness. (20) But ye have not so learned Christ; (21)
If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth
is in Jesus: (KJV)
Beyond the veil (a spiritual veil that
covers the heart) is a totally new realm, an unlimited realm for those that
desire to worship our Lord in Spirit and in truth. Getting beyond this
darkened realm is vital if one is going to move forward in their walk, and
this will only happen by learning who you are in Christ, the truth that was
in Jesus is within you also.
Matthew 16:13-17 When Jesus came into the
coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men
say that I the Son of man am? (14) And they said, Some say that thou art
John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the
prophets. (15) He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? (16) And
Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living
God. (17) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon
Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father
which is in heaven. (KJV)
You know, our Lord did acknowledge
Himself as the son of man, but then He was asking His disciples who they
see Him as. Of all the answers that were given, of all the opinions that
were being spoken of, our Lord acknowledged Himself as the Son of God also,
a revelation that did not come from man but rather God Himself. Your
personal understanding of who God is and His plan of salvation that He has
for you will not come from man either, but rather learning for yourself who
Christ is and how to be a follower of Him, in Spirit and especially in
truth.
Colossians 1:26-28 Even the mystery which
hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to
his saints: (27) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the
glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope
of glory: (28) Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in
all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: (KJV)
Paul describes this realm which is beyond
the veil as a mystery; let’s call it a Spiritual mystery. So to understand
this mystery it takes a Spiritual being to enlighten us to this realm, and
that person is Christ, who is located right inside of each and every
believer. You don’t have to run to and fro seeking the answer to this
mystery, but rather be still, stop what you are doing and ask God to reveal
to you personally who His Son is and how you too can come to an
understanding of this mystery of the gospel. Verse 28 uses the term all
wisdom, because now you are able to see and understand the wisdom of God
and become perfect or mature in your walk with Him.
1 Corinthians 1:23-25 But we preach
Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks
foolishness; (24) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks,
Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. (25) Because the
foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger
than men. (KJV)
You know, by learning who you are in
Christ you are able to see beyond the limitations of the flesh into an
unlimited realm where what was once impossible, is now possible and should
be expected. You see that when many leave Christ out of the equation they
leave a lot off the table, especially when verse 24 says that not only in
Christ there is power, but He is able to teach us the wisdom of God as
well. No wonder the enemy is referred to as antichrist; because with so
much available to the believers in Christ, so much is taken away when they
don’t learn who they are in Him and how to walk confidently, boldly in the
wisdom of God made available to any and all that would call upon His name.
Romans 1:15-17 So, as much as in me is, I
am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. (16) For I am
not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the
Greek. (17) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to
faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (KJV)
Ever hear the term “carnal Christians” or
“milk Christians”, those that basically go to religious organizations,
those that are ever learning things but never come to the knowledge of the
truth? When you leave out Christ you leave out the power of God, as well as
your ability to see and understand your right standing with Him. How can
one ever expect to walk with God, let alone do those things that are
pleasing in His sight, unless they are able to hear His message being
delivered by Christ, and then live by the faith of Him, trusting more in
their Spiritual insight and less on the outward one?
Romans 1:1-5 Paul, a servant of Jesus
Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (2) (Which
he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) (3) Concerning
his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David
according to the flesh; (4) And declared to be the Son of God with power,
according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: (5)
By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith
among all nations, for his name: (KJV)
You know, if you were to ask people the
Lord’s name many would say Jesus, which is half right according to the seed
of David. However, if you were looking for a complete name then you would
see it involved Christ as well, the Son of God with power. How do you see
our Lord today; are you able to see a man that walked this earth, or are you
able to see beyond the veil to a man that is seated at the right hand of
God, that man being Jesus Christ, your only hope of glory?
