An Unlimited Care Package
1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves therefore
under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: (7) Casting
all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (KJV)
God in His loving mercy and kindness for
mankind sent us an unlimited care package in the form of His Son Jesus
Christ so that the fellowship with Him could be restored. How would you
know what is in the package unless you take the time to open it up and read
the instructions, and then follow through so that you can get the results
He intended for you? All this week we have been on the topic of care,
letting go and allowing God to do the caring for us. When one truly lets go
and allows God, then they will experience His peace because they have now
tapped into an unlimited realm where there is no such thing as shortages.
In this chaotic fallen realm that we are surrounded in, fallen people never
satisfied but rather running to and fro to find peace, it is comforting to
know that our Lord never changes, and neither does His promise of abundance
change for His people.
Ephesians 3:19-21 And to know the love of
Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the
fulness of God. (20) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
(21) Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages,
world without end. Amen. (KJV)
The love of Christ goes beyond our
knowledge, well, I should say our limited carnal knowledge, because you
have now tapped into something so much higher and greater than anything or
anyone in this world. Even though the outward man is ready to hit the panic
button the inward man sees the victory we have in Christ, and is able to
rise above and expect His answer. Verse 20 gives us the timeline in which our
Lord operates in, the now. Yesterday is behind us, which our Lord said once
we put our hand to His plow we should not be looking back. Tomorrow is a
realm that is an imagination, something we should be casting down and not
entertaining as truth. If you would learn to operate in the now, then you
will find just how much more above and beyond that our Lord is able to
accomplish, according to His power and not yours, or what you think will be
the answer.
Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not
your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. (9) For as
the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your
ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. (KJV)
That carnal thinking you were in bondage
to before your conversion in Christ, you know, that one that kept you in
bondage and in the realm of fear, well that thinking is what is enmity with
God and is not able to operate effectively in His Word. The distance
between heaven and earth has not yet been measured by man, so I am sure
that when you are talking about the heavenly realm, well let’s just say
that is as high as one can go, that would be at the top. Some have tried to
rise above this realm; in fact, a third of the angels who were already in
this realm tried and ended up falling below to the lowest realm. Many of
God’s people do the same thing as well; instead of letting our Lord do the
caring for them and being led by His Spirit they come up with alternative
ways and thoughts that they think will bring peace, only to end up falling
for a cheap lie. With all that is available in Christ who is seated at the
right hand of God, why would you settle for anything less than all the
Spiritual blessings that are available in Him?
Psalms 40:4-5 Blessed is that man that
maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn
aside to lies. (5) Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou
hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned
up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more
than can be numbered. (KJV)
You think you have the answers; you
entertain so many imaginations and ways that you think will bring peace?
The truth be known, our Lord is able to do and provide so much more above
and beyond anything that we could have ever asked or even thought about, in
fact, to many to be numbered. Yet with this in mind again, do you know
someone better than Him to turn your cares over to and leave them at His
throne? With all that God has provided for His people to walk in can you
honestly think of someone else that could do a better job? Basically that
is what we are saying every time we enter the realm of fear and doubt,
isn’t it?
Romans 8:37-39 Nay, in all these things
we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (38) For I am
persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, (39) Nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (KJV)
Williams New Testament translation
of Romans 8:37-39
37. And yet in all these things we keep
on gloriously conquering through Him who loved us. 38. For I have full
assurance that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor the
present nor the future 39. nor evil forces above or beneath, nor anything
else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God as shown
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Is this the mindset you have today, right
now, this moment? That nothing or no one is going to separate you from the
love of God, a perfect love that casts out all, not just some fear? When
you enter your prayer closet on a daily basis renewing your mind and
tapping into this resource, you need to stay seated until you have this
mind of Christ and what He has done and continues to do on your behalf. All
this week we have been on the topic of casting our care upon the Lord and
letting Him do the caring for us. The more you let Him do the caring, the
less concerned you will be in this fallen chaotic realm we are surrounded
with, a realm that is only going to get worse and worse. Hold fast your
profession of faith without the wavering, and you will know just how
faithful our Lord is and what He has accomplished on your behalf. God bless
and keep the faith.
